Vegan Sugar Cookies {Happy Valentine's Day}

Happy Valentine's Day!  Do you have plans for the day?  We are spending the evening as a family...I have a pot roast in the slow cooker and we have plenty of these pretty sugar cookies to eat.  I found this recipe via Yummy Mummy Kitchen and it is wonderful!  I have never had much luck with vegan recipes that involve rolling dough and cookie cutters, but this recipe is a winner. I used almond milk and did need to use a bit more as she suggested.

Hint:  We don't eat artificial food dyes, so these sanding sugars from India Tree are what we use.  They are pretty and taste good and are available at Whole Foods.

Have a happy day...may it be filled with love and treats!

  2. Those look yummy!

    My hubby is cooking dinner for me tonight - looking forward to it. I made dessert - an Asian Mango Icebox Cake!
    Happy Valentine's Day - enjoy your evening!
