31 Days.
I'm sure you all know the Nester...and if you don't, pop on over and get reading! I love her tips on how to love and use your home, even if it isn't perfect.
Every October she writes about one topic for 31 days and invites her readers to do the same. This year I've decided to join in. My topic is 31 Days of Making Space. Right now I feel like my life and home are too cluttered. Our house is small, it's true, and that's part of it, but I don't think that it's too small to live in, as long as we use it well. My mind is cluttered as well (haha, that sounds bad, like I'm losing my marbles), with lots and lots of things. Parenting an almost five year old, caring for a baby around the clock, running a business, homeschooling, cleaning, cooking healthy and allergy free meals, keeping up to date with our family finances and my shop finances, the list goes on. I feel like I am coming out of the postpartum fog and need to declutter everything to get my "house" in order again.
So I'm not sure what each post will be this month, but they will all have a common theme of making space...whether it be in my home, my cabinet, my Etsy shop, my mind or my heart. I need space to breathe and think and grow and live. It's kind of neat to have this writing project...I think it will help me be stay on track toward making some positive changes around here!
