We love to read over here, and I recently did a little rearranging in our house so that we have a little reading corner in the living room now. I wanted to have some reading artwork for that area, so I made a few printables. If you want to download them for yourself, just click the link below each one.
My boys loved all the Sandra Boyton books when they were little - so fun and the pictures are very engaging. Then the "I can read" series is wonderful. We did Hooked on Phonics and my one son was fluently reading before K. Books & kids are a great combo!
I love your printables! It is so hard for me to narrow down a list of favorite kids books ages 5 and up! Right around age 5, my kids started to enjoy reading book series, such as Magic Treehouse (I think we own all 46+ books), and as they grew older we worked our way through Judy Moody, Encyclopedia Brown, and of course lead up Harry Potter! I love reading with my kids!
Hmmm, I only started getting into English books a little later in life, well, at least a bit later than 5;) So all I have are Dutch recommendations, sorry.
